【摘要】:MaterialsEvaluation8212;SmallsinglesheettestersweredevelopedtosupplementthetestingofEpsteinspecimensforvariousapplications.TheyareespeciallyappropriatefordeterminingthemagneticpropertiesofsampleswheninsufficientmaterialisavailableforpreparationofanEpsteinspecimen.Althoughthesmallspecimensizeisattractive,theprecisionofthesmallsheettestersisnotexpectedtobeasgoodasthatofthetestmethodTestMethodA343/A343M.Smallsheettestersarefrequentlyusedtomeasurethepropertiesofbothfullyprocessedandsemiprocessednonorientedandmagneticlaminationsteels.Specimensofsemiprocessedsteelsarenormallysubjectedtoanappropriatequalitydevelopmentannealpriortotesting.Smallsheettestersmayalsobeusedtoevaluateorientedelectricalsteelsineithertheasshearedorstress-reliefannealedcondition.1.1Thisguidecoversproceduresforinterpretingthespecificcorelossandpeakpermeabilitydeterminedusingsmallsingle-sheettestsystems.Itislimitedtosingle-sheettestsystemsthatrequireatestspecimenorcouponbecutfromthematerialbeingtestedandaredesignedsuchthattheentirewidthofthattestspecimenismagnetizedduringtesting.1.2Thisguideisprimarilyintendedformeasurementsofthemagneticpropertiesofflat-rolledelectricalsteelsatfrequenciesof50Hzor60Hzundersinusoidalfluxconditions.1.3Thisguideincludesprocedurestoprovidecorrelationwiththe25-cmEpsteintestmethod(TestMethodA343/A343M).1.4Therangeofmagneticfluxdensitiesisgovernedbythepropertiesofthetestspecimensandtheinstrumentsandtestpowersource.Nonorientedelectricalsteelsmaybetestedatmagneticfluxdensitiesuptoabout16-kG[1.6T]forcoreloss.Themaximummagneticfieldstrengthforpeakpermeabilitytestingislimitedbythecurrentcarryingcapacityofthemagnetizingwindingandthetestpowersource.Singlesheettestersaretypicallycapableoftestingatmagneticfieldstrengthsupto50Oe[4000A/m]ormore.1.5Withinthisguide,asmallsinglesheettester(smallSST)isdefinedasamagnetictesterdesignedtotestflat,rectangularsheet-typespecimens.Typicalspecimensforthesetestersaresquare(ornearlyso).ThedesignofthesmallSSTtestfixturemaybesmallenoughtoaccommodatespecimensabout5by5cmormaybelargeenoughtoaccommodatespecimensabout36by36cm.SpecimensforaparticularSSTmustbeappropriatefortheparticulartestfixture.1.6Thisguidecoverstwoalternativetestmethods:Method1andMethod2.1.6.1Method1isanextensionofMethod1ofTestMethodA804/A804M,whichdescribesatestfixturehavingtwowindingsthatencirclethetestspecimenandtwolow-reluctance,low-corelossferromagneticyokesthatserveasfluxreturnpaths.ThedimensionsofthetestfixtureforMethod1arenotfixedbutrathermaybedesignedandbuiltforanynominalspecimendimensionwithinthelimitsgivenin.Thepowerlossinthiscaseisdeterminedbymeasuringtheaveragevalueoftheproductofprimarycurrentandinducedsecondaryvoltage.1.6.2Method2coverstheuseofasmallsinglesheettester,whichemploysamagnetizingwinding,amagneticfluxsensingwinding,andamagneticfieldstrengthdetector.Thepowerlossinthiscaseisdeterminedbymeasuringtheaveragevalueoftheproductofinducedsecondaryvoltageandmagneticfieldstrength.1.6.3ThecalibrationmethoddescribedintheAnnexofthisguideappliestobothtestmethods.1.7Thevaluesandequationsstatedincustomary(cgs-emuandinch-pound)orSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthisstandard,SIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eac......
