【摘要】:Appliestoenclosedcapacitorswithintegralprotectionintendedtoreducetheriskofruptureandventingofthecapacitorenclosureunderinternalfaultconditions.Theserequirementsapplytooil-filledcapacitorsrated5kilovoltsorless,anddry-typecapacitorsrated2kilovoltsorless,thatareintendedforusewithappliances,lightingequipment,airconditioningandrefrigerationequipment,motors,andthelike,andthatcomplywiththerequirementsforsuchappliancesandequipment.TherequirementsinPartIIofthisstandardapplytogeneral-usepower-factor-correctionunitsrated600voltsmaximum,intendedforpower-factorcorrectionofcircuitsinaccordancewiththeAmericanNationalStandardNationalElectricalCode,ANSI/NFPA70.
